Monstervoorbereiding omvat verschillende stappen, met verschillende mogelijke processen. Opdat het monster niet wordt vervalst\n \nen de uitgangseigenschappen behouden blijven, is het juiste proces een cruciale factor.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #6ab651;\">Het juiste metallografische proces<\/span><\/h3>\n<p class=\" translation-block\">Voor elke stap van de monstervoorbereiding moeten <strong>geschikte chemische en fysische processen<\/strong> en geschikte verbruiksartikelen worden geselecteerd. Een gedegen kennis van fysica en chemie is een basisvereiste voor elke metallograaf of materiaaltester.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\" translation-block\">Het kiezen van het juiste voorbereidingsproces is afhankelijk van <strong>de kenmerken van het werkstuk<\/strong>. Het monster moet daarom een gerichte kwaliteitscontrole ondergaan. De volgende stap kan pas worden uitgevoerd als er geen fouten worden gevonden. Hiervoor wordt de <strong>structuur onder de digitale microscoop<\/strong> bekeken. De gewenste structuur hoeft niet noodzakelijk van de hoogste kwaliteit te zijn. Deze waarden moeten nu worden gecontroleerd.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\" translation-block\"><strong>De juiste temperatuur is essentieel<\/strong> tijdens de monstervoorbereiding. Eerst moeten de voorwaarden voor het monster worden vastgesteld. Tijdens het scheidingsproces voorkomt waterkoeling dat het monster wordt aangetast door warmteontwikkeling.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\" translation-block\">Daarna volgt de <strong>koude of warme inbedding<\/strong>. Omdat bij koud inbedden de kans op scheurvorming groter is, wordt in dit voorbeeld warm inbedden uitgevoerd met een warm inbedmiddel dat bij 150 \u00b0C kan worden gebruikt. De temperatuur tijdens het warm inbedden mag <strong>in geen geval hoger zijn dan 180 \u00b0C<\/strong>, omdat anders eventueel aanwezige restausteniet wordt omgezet in martensiet. Het monster zou dan goed lijken te zijn, terwijl het onderdeel niet goed is.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\" translation-block\">Als de kwaliteitscontrole naar wens is, volgt het slijpen en polijsten. Het <strong>gecarboniseerde gebied<\/strong> wordt vervolgens door etsen zichtbaar gemaakt.
