Er zijn verschillende technieken beschikbaar. De meest voorkomende zijn <b>PVD-coating<\/b>, een fysisch proces, en plasma-ondersteunde chemische dampafzetting of <b>Plasma-Assisted Chemical<\/b> Vapour Deposition, kortweg PACVD.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\" translation-block\">Ook wordt onderscheid gemaakt tussen <strong>waterstofhoudende, amorfe koolstofcoatings<\/strong> (Amorphus Diamond-Like Carbon, afgekort ADLC) en <strong>waterstofvrije coatings.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #6ab651;\">Gehydrogeneerde amorfe koolstofcoating<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\" translation-block\"><strong>De ADLC-coating<\/strong> is de meest voorkomende variant van DLC-coating. Het wordt meestal toegepast met behulp van het <strong>PACVD-proces.<\/strong> Deze DLC-coatings bereiken hardheden tussen 1.200 HV en 2.200 HV en <strong>droge wrijvingswaarden van 0,1 tot 0,2 op metaal.<\/strong> In principe kunnen ze bij temperaturen tot 300 \u00b0C worden gebruikt.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\" translation-block\">Door <strong>doteringselementen<\/strong> toe te voegen, kunnen de eigenschappen van de coating worden aangepast om de gewenste resultaten te bereiken.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #6ab651;\">Waterstofvrije DLC-coatings<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\" translation-block\">Waterstofvrije DLC-coatings zijn meestal <strong>harder dan ADLC-coatings<\/strong>  en hebben ook een zeer lage wrijvingsco\u00ebffici\u00ebnt.
