In this step, the compound layer produced in the preceding step is partially converted into an oxide layer by dwelling and cooling in an oxidising environment. This layer further increases the corrosion resistance of the workpiece surface.<\/p>\n<p>Beim <a href=\"https:\/\/haertha.de\/verfahren\/aldox\/\">Aldox-Verfahren<\/a> werden im Vergleich zum NIOX-Verfahren eine Zwischenbehandlung und ein zus\u00e4tzlicher Oxidationsprozess durchgef\u00fchrt. So wird der Korrosionsschutz noch weiter erh\u00f6ht.<\/p>\n<p>Materials made of low-alloy steel benefit especially from a NIOX or ALDOX treatment.
